Warm Winter Sandwiches

If you haven't already, go and buy yourself a Panini Maker. I believe it's one of the better kitchen appliances I've bought. We love warm winter sandwiches.

Following are some Warm Winter Sandwiches I've been making.

Reubenesque

Marble Rye Bread
Corned Beef
Swiss Cheese
Pickle Slices
Creamy Cole Slaw

Butter the outsides of your bread and grill in the Panini until the cheese is melted. Remove top piece of bread and spread on some cole slaw.

Rachelesque

Marble Rye Bread
Turkey
Ham
Swiss Cheese
Pickle slices
Creamy Cole Slaw

Same as the sandwich above. Neither one has to be grilled. Just don't put the butter on the outsides of the bread.

Muffaletta

Foccacia Bread
Ham
Salami
Provolone
Pickle Slices
Roasted Red Peppers

Grill. Add creamy cole slaw if you're as addicted to creamy cole slaw as I am.

It's Greek to Me

Focaccia Bread
Smoked turkey
Provolone cheese
Roasted red peppers
Lettuce
Red onion
Sliced cucumber
Sliced ripe olives
Feta cheese crumbles
Greek Salad Dressing

Grill the turkey & provolone & focaccia. When done, remove sandwich top and top with the vegetables and feta cheese. Drizzle with salad dressing and replace sandwich top.

Or eat it cold. Skip the creamy cole slaw on this one. No matter how addicted you are to it.
