Curried Olive Toast

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (about 4 oz)
1 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup chopped scallions
1 (4 1/2 oz) can chopped olives
1 tbsp. curry powder
30 baguette or other French or Italian bread slices

Preheat oven to 400. In a small bowl, combine cheese, mayo, scallions, olives and curry. Mix until well blended.

Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and top each with a generous tablespoon of olive mixture. Bake until topping is puffed and golden, about 10 minutes. Serve warm.
